ISLAMABAD, Aug 13 (APP): The Iranian Embassy has extended heartfelt congratulations to the people and the Government of Pakistan on the occasion of the country’s 77th Independence Day.
In a message on Tuesday, the Embassy praised Pakistan as a “great nation” and conveyed its best wishes for the country’s prosperity, well-being, peace and security.
“We extend our heartiest greetings on this joyous occasion to the government and the people of Pakistan. Our wishes are for prosperity, well-being, peace and security for our friendly, brotherly and neighborly country of Pakistan,” the statement read.
The ties between Iran and Pakistan are deep-rooted, reaffirming the enduring friendship and mutual respect between the two neighboring nations, it added.
