ISLAMABAD, Apr 25 (APP): A delegation of Global Board Members of Al Baraka Bank recently visited the Faisal Masjid campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
The delegation, led by, Dr. Jehad El Nakla Chairman Board Al Baraka Bank was received by Incharge Protocol & Public Relations Nasir Farid. He provided a briefing on IIUI’s services, profile, and role in the promotion of higher education.
The delegation also included Muhammad Atif Hanif CEO & President Al Baraka Bank and Muhammad Umar Pasha Group Head Service Quality/ EVP.
During their visit, the delegation engaged in various activities aimed at fostering collaboration and environmental sustainability. One notable event was the planting of a sapling under the “one tree, one staff, every year” plantation drive symbolizing the commitment of both parties to environmental conservation efforts and a reparative environment.
Discussions ensued regarding ongoing and future collaborative projects between Al Baraka Bank and IIUI, with a focus on initiatives to make the campus greener. Furthermore, the delegation explored the Faisal Mosque, showing a keen interest in its architecture and inquiring about the procedures for Quran classes conducted there.
Both parties expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the visit and affirmed their commitment to furthering collaboration in the future. The delegation departed with a deeper appreciation for the cultural and academic significance of the International Islamic University and the Faisal Mosque.
